Our hot tub is the thing that keeps my husband going. Rheumatoid arthritis and other medical problems cause him great pain, so he relaxes and lets the hot water relieve his aching joints and muscles. If his shoulder freezes up, he gets in the spa and works on it, doing range-of-motion exercises to help it move again. When I get into the Spa with him, he extols the virtues of this jet and that jet, and encourages me to try them all. I let the water wash away my back pain.
